In an interview with Howard Stern today, Louis C.K. said that he recently apologized for insulting Sarah Palin in an aggressive Twitter rant back in 2010, which included things like "I want to rub my father's cock all over Sarah Palin's fat tits” and the bizarre claim that Palin “has a family of chinese poor people living in her cunt hole" (for what it's worth, the tweets happened when C.K. was drinking on the plane and didn’t quite “get” Twitter yet. He has deleted his account since then).

C.K. told Stern that the former Alaska governor came up to compliment him at the “SNL 40” afterparty, and that he couldn’t help but apologize.

"Something came over me emotionally, and I said, 'Well, I owe you an apology,'" C.K. said. "I've never in a million years apologized for anything I've said. Fuck anyone else who is offended. I don't give a shit.”

Apparently Palin was pretty cool about things, joking that C.K. was “a vile person” before inviting him to come fishing with her in Alaska -- which he claims he would do "in a heartbeat." All’s well that ends well!
