Prime Pick

Men in Trees

ABC / Sergei Bachlakov

Although we've never quite grasped the "Northern Exposure Lite" appeal of "Men in Trees" (returns from winter break at 10 p.m. EST on ABC), the show's fans love its plucky heroine, played by Anne Heche, and her hunky on-again, off-again love interest, played by James Tupper. And in a zany but heartbreaking real-life twist, Heche and Tupper allegedly left their real-life spouses for each other. Not only that, but Emily Bergl (who plays Annie) and Derek Richardson (who plays Patrick) are also dating in real life. Yes, Virginia, Alaska really is for lovers.

The finals of "America's Ballroom Challenge" air at 8 p.m. EST on PBS (check listings), then "American Masters" profiles folk singer Pete Seeger (9 p.m. EST on PBS, check listings). For those with less refined tastes, "Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious" (9 p.m. EST on the CW) should be good for a laugh, as the girls learn all about how to boost their self-esteem (by prancing about like streetwalkers, no doubt!). Later, the first segment of the two-part finale of "Project Runway" (10 p.m. EST on Bravo) determines who will go to Fashion Week, Rami or Chris.
