Nancy Pelosi Photoshopped?

The speaker of the House isn't looking like herself on the cover of Capitol File magazine

It looks like  Nancy Pelosi has had some work done. No, I'm not talking about plastic surgery (although many speculate that the speaker of the House has gone under the knife, and the Botox needle). I'm talking about some major airbrushing. The Washington Examiner points out that 70-year-old Pelosi is "looking particularly young" -- and, one might even say, like a completely different person -- on the cover of Capitol File magazine.

The Examiner went so far as to contact "celebrity plastic surgeon" Dr. Ayman Hakki for an expert opinion: "There is airbrushing around her eyes, her upper lid has been airbrushed to make it look like there is less fat on the inside," he said. "And there is airbrushing on the line of her jaw." Keep in mind, though, that Dr. Hakki is technically an expert in plastic surgery, not photo retouching. The Examiner reports that "Pelosi's camp said the picture has not been airbrushed," and Capitol File hasn't commented.

I've learned my lesson about definitively declaring an image Photoshopped, no matter how obviously altered it seems. So, I'm afraid you'll have to come to your own conclusion on this one. I will say, however, that it doesn't take any retouching to make Pelosi into an aspirational cover girl.
