Asking for a raise is tough -- especially in this economy and especially if you're a woman (apparently). Thankfully, we ladies have a major women's advocate on our side: Summer's Eve. Yes, the brand of feminine cleansing products, which, yes, apparently still exists.

Daily Kos reports that Woman's Day features a Summer's Eve advertisement that is made to look like useful editorial content. "Confidence at Work: How to Ask for a Raise," the headlines reads. There follow eight pointers, but the No. 1 most important thing a serious businesswoman must do before marching into her boss's office to demand the pay that she deserves? Prepare for your panties to be bunched:

It should start with your usual routine and all the things you do to feel your best, including showering with Summer's Eve Feminine Wash or throwing a packet of Summer's Eve Feminine Cleansing Cloths into your bag for a quick freshness pick-me-up during the day.

The very next piece of advice: "Just as important: Be sure to eat a healthy breakfast." The "freshness" of your lady parts is just as important as fuel in your stomach? The list also includes the directive to "focus on the things you've done to improve the bottom line," which in this context just sounds dirty. Remember: "Today, it's about your worth to the company" -- and your ability to keep your vagina in check.
