"I like 50-cent apple martinis as much as the next girl," writes Kelly Kendall, "but men and women should be treated equally in the eyes of the law." Ridiculous or righteous?
The Guardian: Good Lord. Five British law lords have reviewed the case of a Sierra Leone woman and decided to grant her asylum after she testified that she fled her country in fear of circumcision. Good call! Now can we get it in the law books?
