On Monday night’s “Daily Show,” Jon Stewart took the news media to task for its (in his mind) over-the-top coverage of last Friday’s Sarah Palin email release, asking: “Where did [Sarah Palin] get this grossly inflated sense of her own importance, like we’re hanging on every word she’s ever said or written? … Oh, right. She got that idea because we are.”
