Republican senators seem willing to welcome him to their ranks

All signs point to Charlie Crist announcing tomorrow that he'll run for the Senate in Florida as an independent. Now the speculation begins: Which party will he caucus with if he wins in November?

Our Mike Madden actually looked at this very question last week. The upshot: the Republican senators who were willing to talk about the possbility of a Crist victory said they'd welcome him into their ranks. "I think we'd want him to caucus with us -- I would," Lindsey Graham told us.
