Emanuel will be Obama's chief of staff

The Illinois congressman, a veteran of the Clinton administration, has reportedly accepted the president-elect's offer.

MSNBC apparently jumped the gun when it reported Wednesday that Illinois Rep. Rahm Emanuel had accepted a position as Barack Obama's White House chief of staff. Today, though, is a different story; now reports that Emanuel has taken the job are flooding in.
