FBI to Congress: There's more where that came from

If members of Congress liked the FBI's search of William Jefferson's office, they're sure going to love this: As Roll Call is reporting, the FBI wants to interview members of the House and Senate to determine whether they were responsible for leaking information about the Bush administration's warrantless spying program to the New York Times.

The good news for the FBI: The list of potential leakers is pretty short because, the requirements of the law notwithstanding, the Bush administration failed to brief the full Senate and House intelligence committees on the program until after the Times revealed its existence in December.
