Rove: Obama "coolly arrogant"

Karl Rove used, of all things, a country club metaphor to slam the presumptive Democratic nominee at a breakfast on Monday.

Karl Rove, a former advisor to the candidate Americans wanted to have a beer with, has a very different alcohol-related image in mind for Barack Obama.

At a breakfast with "Republican insiders" Monday morning, ABC News reports, Rove said of Obama: "Even if you never met him, you know this guy. He's the guy at the country club with the beautiful date, holding a martini and a cigarette, that stands against the wall and makes snide comments about everyone who passes by."

Rove also called Obama "coolly arrogant." Actually, except for that last jab, Rove might want to be careful how often he uses the country club description of Obama. It may just be me, but I think that sounds like a lot more fun than having a nonalcoholic beer with George W. Bush.
