How the World Works

The Korean-American hair Obama

Long, long ago, in a galaxy far, far, away, there was a Super Tuesday primary. (Actually it was only ten months ago, but a warp in the space-time-election continuum resulted in those months becoming the longest ever recorded in the history of the planet Earth).

Way back then, after crunching through some exit poll data, I wrote a blog post noting that Asian-Americans in California had voted en masse for Hillary Clinton.

So perhaps you will understand why I feel compelled to inform my readers that, at least among one sub-set of Asian-Americans, the tide has clearly turned. The Marmot's Hole points us to a portrait of Barack Obama created by artist Lee Ho-cheol, made out of the hair of 1000 Korean-Americans.

I don't have much more to add, except to quote one of the commenters at The Marmot's Hole, who asked:

Question. Did the Korean Americans in question know that their hair was going to be used for this purpose? If I had known, I would of flatly refused.
