Brenda Wineapple

Brenda Wineapple is the prize-winning author of several books, including "White Heat: The Friendship of Emily Dickinson and Thomas Wentworth Higginson," a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award and a New York Times Notable Book. She teaches in the MFA programs at the New School University and Columbia University, and she is the Doris Zemurray Stone Professor of Modern Literary and Historical Studies and Union College. She lives in New York City.
