We love baseball spring training. It's bright and sunny in Florida and Arizona, and the games played now promise the official games of spring and summer are right around the corner. Here is one of our favorite baseball moments of yesteryear, the 1983 George Brett pine tar incident, on demand thanks to YouTube. Cue to around 3:20 if you want to zip ahead to moment of impact. Three weeks until the regular season haul gets underway!

And here's another gem: Johnny Bench and his "Baseball Bunch" with a dramatic recreation of that pine tar incident. Very nice attention to detail paid here, in particular to the mustaches.

Here's the video of John McCain announcing Wednesday night, on the "Late Show," that he will be running for president. This kind of takes the suspense out of the upcoming official announcement, but we like Paul's idea that McCain will make that one on Leno.

On Wednesday, we brought you Glenn Beck ranting about Keith Olbermann's quote in Rolling Stone that Beck's television career could be one comment away from ending. Well, on Wednesday night, Beck had this uncomfortable exchange with US Weekly's Dina Sansing during their conversation about some naughty pics of "American Idol" contestant Antonella Barba. Could Olbermann's words possibly prove prophetic so soon?

The first lady: "Of course, what we see on television is the one bombing a day that discourages everybody."

Tuesday's "Daily Show" ran a clip of one particularly notable moment from the first lady's recent gab with CNN's Mr. Larry King, and Jon Stewart gives it the commentary it so justly deserves. "That one pesky, daily explosion!" he rephrases Mrs. Bush's take on Iraq, "it's so discouraging to see that on TV." When put that way, it almost seems like the president's wife doesn't even have a remote grasp of what's going on over there.

On Tuesday night, CNN Headline News talking head Glenn Beck responded on his program to comments MSNBC's Keith Olbermann made about him in the current issue of Rolling Stone. Beck gets pretty animated in this clip -- especially when he does the mocking impression of Olbermann. Oy. Beck says his liberal staffers have blood shooting out of their eyes; but what of their ears?

To check out some of Beck's other fine work, click here.
