On Buffy the Vampire Slayer (8 p.m., WB), Buffy discovers how Riley has been spending his free time. Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (8 p.m., ABC) begins a three-night college student challenge. Nova (8 p.m., PBS, check local listings) presents "Japan's Secret Garden," a look at an ecosystem created to grow rice that is also harmonious with wildlife. On Angel (9 p.m., WB), Angel battles Drusilla as he tries to get to Darla before her rebirth as a vampire. Frontline (9 p.m., PBS, check local listings) reruns the four-part "From Jesus to Christ: The First Christians," a history of Jesus and the birth of Christianity. Grace gets lessons in driving and love on Once and Again (10 p.m., ABC).

Elton John, Moby, Lee Ann Womack, Natalie Cole and Bon Jovi headline All-Star Winter Celebration: The Nobel Concert (8 p.m., Fox Family Channel), honoring Nobel Peace Prize winner Kim Dae Jung. Jon Bon Jovi miraculously appears on another all-star concert, A Very Special Christmas (8 p.m., TNT), a Washington benefit for the Special Olympics. Bon Jovi and fellow "Friend of Al" Tom Petty perform, along with Macy Gray, B.B. King, Wyclef Jean and others.
