Series

On a rerun of Friends (8 p.m., NBC), Joey, Ross and Monica play a really long game of catch. ER (10 p.m., NBC) reruns the one where there's a power failure in the hospital and a rapist on the loose. 48 Hours (10 p.m., CBS) profiles a hearing-impaired baseball player. Dr. Ruth, Barry "Greg Brady" Williams and Lea DeLaria are among the celebrities who will be firing their agents after VH1's Celebrity Karaoke Cabaret (10 p.m., VH1) airs. Nightline in Prime Time (10 p.m., ABC) continues "Brave New World" with a show about the search for extra-terrestrial life in our solar system and scientific debate about what form that life might take. They Might Be Giants contributes a tune about a plucky little germ.
