On Buffy the Vampire Slayer (8 p.m., WB), Professor Walsh's Frankenstein monster escapes from the Initiative compound and only Buffy can stop it. Will's father (guest Sydney Pollack) can't deal with his son being gay on Will & Grace (9 p.m., NBC). Nova (check local times, PBS) continues "Secrets of Lost Empires" with an episode about how and why the Easter Island heads were built. Angel and Wesley are called upon to exorcise a demon from a possessed youngster on Angel (9 p.m., WB). Frontline (check local times, PBS) presents the Forrest Sawyer-anchored report "Assault on Gay America," a look at homophobia and violence against gays and lesbians. A cast regular bows out on NYPD Blue (10 p.m., ABC). Don't get upset, it's only Martinez.
