Salon.com (Nasdaq: SALN) (http://www.salon.com), one of the Internet's premier media companies, announced today that Steve Reed has been hired as Senior Vice President of Media Sales. Reed, a ten-year veteran of the radio industry, was most recently an executive at AM/FM, Inc., serving as General Sales Manager of KKSF & CNET Radio. Reed was responsible for record revenue increases in each of his management positions at both AM/FM, Inc. and Intercom, Inc., where he served as General Sales Manager KFXX in Portland, Oregon.
