Ask Jeeves Becomes Exclusive Web Search Partner on the Network

(Nasdaq: ASKJ), a leading provider of Web interaction solutions that humanize the online experience, has signed a one-year sponsorship agreement, making it the exclusive Web question-answering service on's network of sites. The agreement runs through July 2001.

The deal integrates the Ask Jeeves at logo into the "Search the Web" architecture of the site. The logo now appears on the top left corner of every page on the network, allowing Salon users to conduct Web searches directly from the site.
