The new drama series Mysterious Ways (8 p.m., NBC) is a cross between "The X-Files" and "Touched by an Angel." Adrian Pasdar plays an anthropologist who believes in miracles; he's paired with skeptical scientist Rae Dawn Chong. In an unusual move, the series airs on NBC for six weeks, then moves to the spiritually minded PAX TV, home of shows such as "It's a Miracle" and "Angels Among Us." Everybody Loves Raymond (9 p.m., CBS) reruns the one that flashes back to Robert's disastrous marriage. Younger women give Lily and Grace fits on a rerun of Once and Again (10 p.m., ABC).

The latest installment of The Great American History Quiz (8 p.m., History Channel) tests viewers' knowledge of famous good guys and bad guys. Chevy Chase hosts; guests include Gillian Anderson, Sammy Sosa and the women of "The View." The documentary Treasures of the Royal Captain (9 p.m., Discovery Channel) looks at an expedition to uncover an English trade ship believed to have been carrying a fortune.

Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (1 p.m., ESPN2)
