Just Shoot Me (9:30 p.m., NBC) reruns the mock "A&E Biography" episode about the life and times of Nina. Investigative Reports (10 p.m., A&E) examines the shortage of qualified teachers in public schools. Julianna Margulies bows out as Carol Hathaway on a rerun of ER (10 p.m., NBC). Watch all the way to the end if you're a fan of a certain dark-eyed former "ER" leading man.

Shawn and Marlon Wayans host the 2000 Video Music Awards (8 p.m., MTV) from New York's Radio City Music Hall, with performances by Eminem, Britney Spears, Red Hot Chili Peppers, 'N Sync, Janet Jackson, Blink 182 and Rage Against the Machine. Also appearing: Chris Rock, Carson Daly, Lil' Kim, Sting, Snoop Dogg and a "Survivor" or two. The Hughes Brothers' 1995 heist thriller Dead Presidents (8 p.m., Fox) stars Larenz Tate as a young man who returns from Vietnam to find few opportunities, so he plots to stick it to the Man by boosting a Federal Reserve Bank.
