It's also rerun time for last season's finale of ER (10 p.m., NBC), in which the staff stages an intervention for the strung-out Carter. Peter Jennings profiles presidential rivals Al Gore and George W. Bush on a special edition of 20/20 (10 p.m., ABC). Investigative Reports (10 p.m., A&E) probes the Salt Lake City Olympics bidding scandal in the report "Tarnished Gold."



The miniseries Dean Koontz's 'Sole Survivor' (8 p.m., Fox) wraps up.
