Nationally recognized spoken word artist Jimmy Jazz is the author of The Sub, a novel about The Substitute Teacher on the front lines of American Education. He is also the leader of Doi-oi-oi-oi-oing, a group of artists conspiring to overthrow the popular culture, and the publisher of Pirate Enclave, a monthly e-zine with art, fiction, poetry, essays, and reviews.

His next book, The Symphony of Urban Decay, a collection of short stories, is forthcoming from Incommunicado Press and his first full-length audio book, Rube Goldberg Suicide Machine, will be available for download on Loudbooks.com later this year. Jimmy Jazz lives in San Diego, California.
