"War Child"

Christian Langworthy graduated with an MFA in poetry from Columbia University in 1997. Among the awards he has won are a Columbia University Fellowship, a Pushcart Prize Nomination, a Pulitzer Prize Nomination, an Academy of American Poets Prize, and a Grand Prize National Poetry Chapbook Contest (sponsored by Poet Magazine). Langworthy's poems have appeared in a chapbook of poems entitled The Geography of War and in the anthologies Premonitions (Kaya) and Watermark (Asian American Writers Workshop and Temple University).

He is also the author of "War Child," a forthcoming novel from Riverhead Books (April 2001).
