Ally asks Ling for kissing help and finds herself on the opposite side of a case from Larry on Ally McBeal (9 p.m., Fox). Debra learns that her parents' marriage isn't as perfect as she thinks on the Thanksgiving episode of Everybody Loves Raymond (9 p.m., CBS). The American Experience (9 p.m., PBS, check local listings) reruns a profile of Eleanor Roosevelt. Impostor aliens try to persuade Max to join their crusade on Roswell (9 p.m., WB).

Why Doctors Make Mistakes (9 p.m., Learning Channel) looks at the reasons behind medical errors and what can be done to prevent them (and if all else fails, do like other surgical patients have done -- write detailed instructions on your body so the doc won't take out your kidney when you're actually in for a nose job).
