Investigative Reports (10 p.m., A&E) looks at "The Danger on Our Plates" in the form of E. coli contamination in meat and other food-borne bacterial outbreaks. Dan Rather gets all sensitive on us as 48 Hours (10 p.m., CBS) looks at inspiring tales of forgiveness.

Specials

Ellen DeGeneres, Amy Brenneman, Faith Hill, Destiny's Child and Muhammad Ali are among the celebrities on hand to pay tribute to adoptees and their parents on A Home for the Holidays (8 p.m., CBS). In the spirit of the season, Feuds 2000 (10 p.m., VH1) looks back at all the stars who brightened our days with their public displays of animosity toward one another.
