Bartlet's surgeon general (Mary Kay Place) has some controversial ideas about marijuana on The West Wing (9 p.m., NBC). Last week, Temptation Island (9 p.m., Fox) viewers tuned in to find Barbra Streisand instead. Don't worry, that won't happen this week. Star Trek: Voyager (9 p.m., UPN) begins a two-parter in which a brainwashed Janeway is thrust into forced labor on an alien planet. On Law & Order (10 p.m., NBC), a pregnant woman in the trunk of a car leads to trouble for a basketball star.

Specials

You have to admire CBS's strenuous efforts to attract viewers to the usually lame Grammy Awards (8 p.m., CBS). Madonna will open the show, but it's the freakish duet between Eminem and Elton John that's expected to bring the rubberneckers out. Also slated to perform: U2, 'N Sync, Destiny's Child, Christina Aguilera and Faith Hill. Jon Stewart hosts.
