On Ally McBeal (9 p.m., Fox), John and Larry face off in court over human cloning, while Nelle and Elaine explore online romance. Ray wants to invest his kids' college money in a go-kart track on a new episode of Everybody Loves Raymond (9 p.m., CBS). Max, Isabel, Maria and Liz face a devastating loss on Roswell (9 p.m., WB). First lady Laura Bush is profiled on Headliners and Legends (10 p.m., MSNBC). Backstory (10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST, American Movie Classics) looks at the making of the kitschy 1967 classic "Valley of the Dolls."

Specials

The unfortunately titled new TV movie Kiss My Act (8 p.m., ABC) is a Cyrano de Bergerac retelling starring Camryn Manheim as a plus-size bartender at a comedy club who writes killer material for a cute but talentless rising star. Scott Cohen, Alexandra Lee and Marlee Matlin costar.
