On Ed (8 p.m., NBC), the lawyer wants Stuckeybowl to be declared a historic landmark. Joey and Pacey attend a party for college freshmen and Jen finds out that her grandma is selling the house to put her through college on Dawson's Creek (8 p.m., WB). On The West Wing (9 p.m., NBC), the poll numbers from Joey Lucas aren't good, but the staff prepares to announce the president's medical condition anyway. Meanwhile, the Haitian president is hiding out in the U.S. Embassy, and Josh hits another roadblock in bringing a government case against Big Tobacco. On The Drew Carey Show (9 p.m., ABC), Drew is seduced by an environmental activist (Illeana Douglas) who wants the dope on DrugCo. Felicity (9 p.m., WB) finds Noel, Felicity and Ben once again at a crossroads. The five-night celebrity edition of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (10 p.m., ABC) continues.

Specials

LeAnn Rimes hosts the Academy of Country Music Awards (8 p.m., CBS). Performers include Jo Dee Messina, Toby Keith, Lonestar, Brad Paisley and Alan Jackson. The two-part documentary series Conquistadors (8 p.m., PBS, check local listings) retraces the paths of the 16th century Spanish explorers who made their marks on the New World. Michael Wood hosts.
