Series

Wayne Brady of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" gets his own summer series, The Wayne Brady Show (8 p.m., ABC), a good old variety-skit show with a dash of improv. Justin Timberlake and Brian McKnight guest. The concert series Reverb (8 p.m., HBO) opens a new season with performances from Coldplay, Creeper Lagoon and Remy Zero. The Job (9:30 p.m., ABC) comes back to ABC's schedule with reruns of its first half-season. (It has been renewed.) Denis Leary stars as a hard-living New York police detective with a bad attitude and a morbidly funny sense of humor. Jiminy puts Regis Philbin in the hot seat on Primetime Glick (10:30 p.m., Comedy Central). Also, Glick's long-suffering musical director, Adrian Van Voorhees (Michael McKean), plays "stump the band" with the audience.
