Democracy is in the streets

This is probably not what the folks at MSNBC had in mind when they decided to broadcast from “Democracy Plaza” at Rockefeller Center, but hey, democracy is messy. Both “Hardball” and “After Hours” had to contend with a backdrop of mostly Kerry-Edwards signs, plus a huge placard reading, “God help us — Bush is trying to steal another election” as well as the smaller but more mobile “Lick Bush and Dick 2004.” The whole world is watching.
