While the resignation announcements of some Supreme Court justices have been timed to coincide with the nomination of their replacements, that apparently won’t be the case today. The White House says that President Bush will speak about Sandra Day O’Connor’s departure this morning but won’t be making any announcement about who he’ll nominate to replace her.
