If that sea of red in November left you feeling blue, a poster at Daily Kos has just produced a new map that should send you into Thanksgiving smiling. Based on Survey USA's 50-state polling on George W. Bush's approval rating, the United States is suddenly looking awfully ... azure.

The graphical presentation is striking, but the underlying data is pretty remarkable, too. For now, at least, the president enjoys the support of more than 50 percent of the citizenry in just three states: Utah, Idaho and Wyoming.
