Laura Bush foresees ovaries in the Oval Office

Guess who the first lady wants to be the first female commander in chief?

The first lady of the United States predicted Friday that it won't be long before the country has its first female president. Now don't get too excited. The candidate that Laura Bush has in mind? Condoleezza Rice.

"I'd love to see her run. She's terrific," Bush said in an interview with CNN, according to the Associated Press. The idea of a female president throws us into such a giddy fit that we want to quit our day jobs and become politicians. But Condi?

Rice has made it clear that she has no plans to run when President Bush's term ends. For now, we'll just hang on to the more hopeful end of Mrs. Bush's prediction: that a woman, period, will soon take up residence in the Oval Office.

"I think it will happen probably in the next few terms of the presidency in the United States," she said.

Any other nominations?
