This is the title track from Liz Durrett‘s second album, produced by her uncle, Vic Chesnutt, whose scrappy Gothic Americana style is clearly a major influence, but with Chesnutt’s spit and bile replaced by wan smiles and whispered intimations of a vaguely creepy nature. Here she multitracks her voice to lovely effect.
