We like the way "The Sopranos" has woven religion into this season so far, from Paulie's big news about who his mother really is, to smiling evangelicals Bob Brewster and Aaron Aarkaway, who seem to hold a special appeal to Tony as he struggles with his own mortal fears (and who have inspired us to, whenever we feel His presence, quietly mutter "Praise Him") . But this short exchange between Tony and Bob was particularly impressive, spotlighting a range of contemporary religious issues, from the intelligent design movement's conflicts with basic science to the odd political alliance between evangelicals and Jews.
