Marconi Union has a fan in Brian Eno, who asked the Manchester duo to oversee the remastering of his back catalog. The god of ambient music bestowed his affections wisely: Of the many artists working off the template set by Eno in his early work, only Boards of Canada are as convincing. This beautiful track, which will dissolve your thoughts into an insomniac haze, is the opener from their new "[Distance]," recently released on All Saints Records.
