Video killed the internet star

It's no wonder the words "internet sensation" send a chill down most people's spines, when video websites thrust a guy like Judson Laipply into the spotlight. Somehow his dancing and comedic skills paled in the cold light of day on his appearance yesterday morning on "Today," and no amount of hearty guffaws and side-clutching by the hosts could save Laipply from a simple fact: The Web glorifies mediocrity in a way that morning talk shows can't quite manage.
