“Breast-Feed or Else”

A quick FYI: Yesterday’s New York Times article on breast-feeding sparked many letters to Broadsheet, none of them positive. Quoth one reader: “The crux for me is that it is ridiculous and patronizing to ‘educate’ women about breast-feeding when we don’t even have paid maternity leave to help [us] do it.” Just to let you know, the reason we didn’t react to the article yesterday is that we’re preparing a full-length, stand-alone response for today. Stand by!
