The lefty blogs are all over this -- so let's pile on! At his press conference this morning, the President crankily poked at the Los Angeles Times's Peter Wallsten, who is legally blind, asking Are you going to ask that question with shades on? And then, "Im interested in the shade look, seriously.
Nice! Of course, it's not as good as that time Bush waved at Stevie Wonder (but that, alas, never really happened). Still, what we liked most about the exchange was Wallsten's quick wit.
Bush: "For the viewers, there's no sun."
Wallsten: "I guess that depends on your perspective."
Bush: Touche.
