Commute from hell

Because of the crowded morning commute, Tokyo's subway system has long employed white-gloved oshiya, or "pushers," whose job is to cram passengers into already full cars so that the doors will close and the train can leave on time. See the human-sardine packers in action, with a side of incredulous laughter from foreign onlookers.
