Taking the fall for an evil twin?

Bush's former top domestic policy advisor appears to be in plea negotiations on shoplifting charges.

Remember Claude Allen, who served as George W. Bush's top domestic policy advisor until he was arrested for shoplifting from Target? Remember how Allen's people were floating hints that maybe the thief wasn't Allen but his evil twin?

Maybe it's true. But if it is, Allen is one hell of a good brother: Allen's trial was supposed to begin this week, but it has been postponed -- a sign that Allen is plea bargaining with prosecutors.
