Sensitivity alert: In a story just posted on its Web site, the New York Times takes the unusual (for the Times) step of linking Bush’s words to an audio recording of his saying them — but deletes the four-letter word at the heart of Bush’s quote from both the story and the audio recording itself.
Or not: An updated version of the Times story and the audio recording to which it links now contain the expletive that was deleted previously.
