Coulter says Gore is gay, too. But she's joking about him

She insists that Clinton's homosexuality is "manifestly obvious"

She's on a roll.

In an appearance on "Hardball" -- Raw Story has the video -- Ann Coulter defended her claim that Bill Clinton is gay and went on to declare Al Gore "a total fag."

The Gore thing was a joke, she said. The Clinton thing isn't.

Chris Matthews asked Coulter if her conclusion about Clinton was based on her own private life. No, she said, it's just a "manifestly obvious fact." "Somebody pointed out on Free Republic [that] Ann's amazing capacity is to state the obvious and make it news," she explained. "I mean, why would a promiscuous heterosexual man have, as I say, a whiff of the bathhouse about him?"

Matthews tried again. You're joking, right?

"It's not only not a joke, it's not even surprising," Coulter insisted. "If feminists were not so in love with Bill Clinton for any feminist with the benefit of something beyond a community college education, this is standard feminist doctrine -- that wild promiscuity shows a fear and hostility [toward] women."
