Apes and Androids is a New York band led by David Tobias and Brian Jacobs, childhood friends who have been collaborating since 1997 under the name Call Florence Pow. After just a few performances, their new band has been garnering attention around town for its highly theatrical glam-electro, which combines Queen-style bombast and a stage show plucked from the most absurd moments of VH1 Classic with precise, masterful electronics.
