What do you call it when a U.S. senator who fancies the Confederate flag and stands accused of making racially insensitive comments holds a meet-and-greet for people of color?

If you’re Virginia Sen. George Allen, you call it an “Ethnic Rally.”

We’re betting the words — “More Pictures from Sen. Allen’s Ethnic Rally” — won’t last long on Allen’s campaign Web site, but Josh Marshall has the screen shot saved for posterity.
