As Dr. Phil is to Oprah, Sylvia Browne is to Montel. And while subjecting people to the judgments of the doctor might seem cruel, giving a lousy psychic the chance to concoct theories surrounding mysteriously dead loved ones has to be criminal. On a recent episode, she matter-of-factly tells grieving parents that their daughter was shot. Unfortunately for Sylvia, that wasn't the case. (From VD friend Michael O'Connell)
