The Damnwells are an Americana-tinged band whose allegiance really lies with the most melodic and pop-oriented of '90s alt-rock, and they're masters of that sweet sound as this song, the opener from their second album, "Air Stereo," will show you: unabashedly cheesy but, like a perfectly executed formulaic romantic comedy, absolutely spot on in hitting all the right buttons.
