A small airplane has crashed into the side of a high-rise building on New York's Upper East Side. Fox News reports that a number of people may be trapped in the building and that at least two people may already have died.

The FBI's counterterrorism team is en route, and the military has scrambled fighter planes. However, a spokeswoman for the FBI says that there is no indication yet that the crash was anything other than an accident.
