While we're waiting for the big concession in Virginia, which will give the Democrats control of the Senate, there's this related news from the Associated Press: Sen. Conrad Burns conceded defeat in Montana to Democrat Jon Tester today. "I stand ready to help as Montana transitions to a new United States Senator," Burns said in a statement provided to the AP. "We fought the good fight and we came up just a bit short. We've had a good 18 years and I am proud of my record." Burns served three terms in the Senate.

Sen. George Allen, are you listening?
