We were talking just a little while ago about the drastic measures taken during the detention of Donald Vance. Well, now it seems that all those procedures were for naught; apparently, they don't quite prevent escapes.

The New York Times is reporting that Aiham Alsammarae, a former electricity minister (and dual U.S.-Iraqi citizen) who was in jail on charges of corruption, has made his second escape.

Alsammarae's lawyer denies the allegations, saying his client is out on bail, but the Times has several sources saying it was in fact a prison break.
